The stage in Plaza de Chueca will host like every year the opening speech on wednesday July 2nd. The rest of the days there is a whole program of popular activities for kids and elders that will bring back the authentic street fair flavour to this celebration.

The stage at Plaza del Rey will be on from wednesday to sunday and like every year will be home of the Muestra T Cultural Festival. A space where musical and artistic genres as diverse as: Jazz, Flamenco, modern dance and documentaries all come together to enrich the cultural offer of MADO.
Plaza de Callao
Plaza de Callao, one of Madrid's greatest landmark joins the party with a stage that will bring eye catching performances and pageants that will be sure to captivate all audiences. This stage will be on from thursday to Saturday.
Calle Pelayo, a pionieer in Madrid Pride celebrations is the home of the most genuine and fun performances and activities such as the traditional High Heels Race.
Plaza de Colón
Plaza de Colón will have a stage on saturday 5th where you will be able to enjoy the best performances of the dance and pop scenes. It is a incomparable setting that fits thousands of people. You will be able to enjoy the performances at the end-of-parade-stage with the traditional arrival of floats and the reading of FELGTB an COGAM's Manifesto that will encourage people to live Pride in freedom.

1977 marked the beginning of the lgbt rights movement in our country, which was in the full transition process towards democracy after 40 years of dictatorship, being the LGBT community one of the most affected by the repression of the regime.
In 2007 the Europride celebration was another highlight in our history, consolidating the Madrid Pride internationally as “best gay event in the world”
After a long journey Madrid Pride becomes WorldPride to host the World LGBT Pride event.
