Pride Parade Information

The National LGBTQ+ Pride March is held on the first Saturday of July.

LGBTQ+ Pride is commemorated every year through a series of advocacy-focused events and public actions organized by LGBTQ+ communities across Spain. Their aim is to celebrate diversity and demand equal rights for lesbians, gay men, trans, bisexual, intersex people, and many others.

LGBTQ+ Pride always culminates in a major march in Madrid, representing Pride at the national level and regularly bringing together around 2 million people. It is the largest Pride march in Europe and one of the largest in the world.

🗺️ Pride Parade Route

As every year, the Madrid Pride March will make its way along some of the city’s main thoroughfares.
The starting point will be the Glorieta de Carlos V in Atocha, and the route will end at Plaza de Colón, where the manifesto will be read.

📅 Date and time

The major National LGBTQ+ Pride March will take place on Saturday, July 4, 2026.
The march is scheduled to set off at 6:00 p.m., but we recommend arriving early.
This is MADO’s main event, so get ready for a day full of emotion, activism, and color.

📣 Who Organizes the March?

The march is organized by FELGTBI+ and COGAM, with the support of AEGAL.
This is a national call to action, meaning that LGBTQ+ communities and organizations from across Spain come together in Madrid to march as one.
It is an advocacy-focused, plural, and open event for all citizens.

Everyone who wants to!
Pride is an open, diverse, and inclusive march. You can join as an individual or as part of an LGBTQ+ organization, association, activist group, cultural group, or institution.
The streets belong to all of us — and so does Pride.

📝 Registration for groups, batucadas, companies and volunteers

If you are part of an organization, a batucada, a company, or would like to volunteer, you must register in advance using the forms provided by the organizing entities.

🚇 How to Get There and Move Around

We recommend using public transport. The closest stations to the starting point are Atocha Renfe and Antón Martín. Near the end of the march, you will find Colón, Serrano, and Alonso Martínez.

Plan your journey in advance, as many streets along the route will be closed during the march.
