Next July 3, the emblematic Taberna Candela will host CANDELA PRIDE, a charity event where tradition, avant-garde and commitment intertwine to celebrate diversity and support trans visibility in the framework of MADO Madrid Pride 2025.
Actress and activist Lola Rodriguez, iconic face of Veneno, image of Jean Paul Gaultier ‘s ‘Divine’ campaign and a leading voice for trans rights, will present an exclusive piece of jewelry by designer Alan Crocetti, reinvented with the colors of the trans flag as a symbol of pride and resistance. 30% of the profits from the sale of this piece will be donated to an NGO, which has several programs to continue promoting the defense of LGTBI+ rights, as well as projects that focus on the labor inclusion of trans people through individualized accompaniment.
The evening will include a live performance by artist Carvento, who will offer a queer reinterpretation of flamenco and copla, combining passion, emotion and dissidence.
All this is possible thanks to the historical commitment of Jean Paul Gaultier, sponsor of the event, whose trajectory has always been linked to the defense of diversity and freedom of expression. The brand thus reaffirms its role as an ally of the LGBTQIA+ collective, supporting initiatives that celebrate pride, identity and resistance.
The experience is complete with an open bar sponsored by Belvedere. A celebration of creative excellence and queer pride powered by Jean Paul Gaultier.
CANDELA PRIDE will be attended by allies and referents. A place for everyone.
This event is part of the cultural program of MADO Madrid Orgullo, a program that celebrates diversity through art, activism and contemporary creation.
