COGAM’s groups and workshops are meeting spaces aimed at LGTBIQ+ people and allies who seek to share experiences, create bonds and actively participate in community life. Through regular proposals open to different interests, these groups offer safe environments to express themselves, learn and connect with other people.
The programme includes the LGTBI+ Theatre Group, which meets on the second and fourth Saturday of each month to work on body expression, creativity and communication; the Group of Sapphic Women, with meetings on the first Friday of each month to share experiences and strengthen support networks; the Emotional Wellbeing Group, which takes place on the second and fourth Monday of each month and proposes self-care and emotional management tools; and the English Club, a weekly appointment every Tuesday to practice English in a welcoming and international environment.
All groups are aimed at promoting participation, mutual support and the creation of community with respect for diversity. In addition, interested people can register as supporters of COGAM to receive information about activities, meetings and initiatives of the entity.
This proposal is part of La Oculta, the cultural programme promoted by COGAM within MADO Madrid Pride, a space dedicated to culture, memory, participation and diversity.
