Las coplas con pan(k) sabe mejor proposes a contemporary look at the copla, claiming its ability to question norms, express desires and cross generations. Through cabaret and theatrical music, Trio Caracol recovers songs born on the margins to put them in conversation with current debates about identity, gender and freedom.
The show builds an emotional journey where irony, beauty and heartbreak coexist, exploring both the limits that we impose on ourselves and those that are given to us from the outside. A proposal that celebrates the mixture, diversity and strength of the collective as forms of resistance.
Because there are songs that do not belong to the past: they continue to speak to us, move us and accompany us in the present.
This proposal is part of the programme of Muestra•t, the cultural festival of MADO Madrid Pride, which celebrates its 20th edition this year.
