Divaastral is an intimate journey to the face as a symbolic and emotional territory. With a pencil as his main tool, Fran Sánchez unfolds a series of portraits that transcend physical representation to capture gestures, glances and silences charged with meaning. Influenced by film icons, musical voices and artists who broke the mold, each work becomes a silent altar to diversity and freedom of being.

From Seville, where he has developed most of his artistic career, Fran Sánchez has worked on children’s illustration projects, editorial publications and graphic design for brands such as Glamour Spain or Mustang. His training in advertising graphics and his self-taught eye have led him to specialize in portraiture and the human figure, exhibiting his work in cities such as Bilbao, Turin, Milan, Naples and Madrid.

Divaastral is part of muestra-t, the cultural agenda of MADO Madrid Orgullo, a space that celebrates diversity through art and culture.
