As part of the VIII Children’s and Youth Day against School Bullying, Don’t Look at Me Like That! proposes a storytelling session aimed at girls and boys from 3 years old accompanied by an adult. An activity that uses children’s literature as a tool to promote empathy, respect and understanding of differences.
Through the stories Don’t Look at Me Like That!, Nenaza and Chicazo and Learning to Read, participants will be able to approach stories that address issues such as diversity, gender stereotypes, inclusion and the importance of accepting each person as they are. Stories that invite us to reflect on how we relate to those around us and on the value of building safe and respectful spaces for all people.
The activity will be given by Tramuntana and is part of the programming of the VIII Children’s and Youth Day against School Bullying organized by Muestra•t and La Habitación de Martina, an initiative that promotes awareness and prevention of bullying through education, culture and participation.
The session is aimed at children from 3 years old accompanied by an adult. Participation is free with prior registration and only minors attending must register.
