Fuenlabrada joins the Pride celebration again with a program that brings together cultural, educational and festive proposals aimed at all citizens. Under the slogan “Pride of being, freedom to love”, the city promotes a calendar of activities that promotes LGTBI+ visibility, equality and respect for diversity.

The program includes theater, cinema, cultural visits, participatory workshops, community meetings and musical shows. Among the activities are the performance of Smiley, a love story, the thematic visit Diverse Love to the Thyssen-Bornemisza National Museum, the screening of the film With love, Simon and various initiatives of crafts for diversity promoted by local associations.

One of the central moments will come with the March of the Colors for Diversity, which will tour the city to claim the rights and visibility of the LGTBI+ collective, culminating with a great battle of colored powder and musical performances. The program will conclude with the traditional Dragbaret Gala and delivery of the Fuenla Entiende Awards, a space for celebration and recognition of the commitment to diversity in the municipality.

The programme has the collaboration of entities, associations and groups that work for equality and LGTBI+ rights, consolidating Fuenlabrada as a benchmark in the promotion of open, safe and inclusive spaces for all people.

This activity is part of the Orgullo en Comunidad programme, an initiative that brings the celebration of Pride to municipalities throughout the Community of Madrid through cultural, social and participatory proposals that promote diversity, coexistence and equality.
