GROSERO is born of an atmosphere: the one that surrounds the nights of Chueca. From the crossing of glances, from the complicit gestures, from the bodies that meet and recognize each other without asking permission. Joan Fernando Gómez gathers in this exhibition that urban heartbeat, diverse and alive, transforming into art what some try to silence.

With vibrant palettes that celebrate the intensity of desire and soft tones that evoke tenderness, his works oscillate between morbidity and delicacy, romanticism and provocation. Fetishes, sweat, kisses, bodies that neither hide nor apologize. Men who celebrate their existence with pride and freedom, without guilt or disguise.

Inspired by the legacy of artists such as Tom of Finland, Gómez updates his message: to build images where desire is not dirty and where the “gross” is claimed as a luminous truth. GROSERO is not only an exhibition to look at; it is a mirror in which to recognize oneself, an invitation to be free and to transform shame into pride.
