The AZarte LGTBIQ+ Festival returns in 2026 with a new edition consolidated as an exhibition and meeting space for contemporary creation linked to the collective. During the months of June and July, the hall hosts a multidisciplinary programme that brings together theatre, cinema, exhibitions, colloquiums, live podcasts and cultural activities that focus on diversity, memory, identity and the different LGTBIQ+ realities.
The programme includes stage proposals such as The Importance of Being Ernesto, Pésame Mucho, Grinder Prohibido el Amor, Puede Fallar XXL, El menú de siempre or Mi noche con Nacho, along with documentary screenings, meetings with creators, live radio broadcasts and exhibitions such as the one dedicated to Amariconarte.
With this fourth edition, AZarte reaffirms its commitment to the visibility of LGTBIQ+ talent and to the creation of spaces where art and culture become tools for dialogue, reflection and celebration of diversity.
This activity is part of the official programme of Muestra•t, the cultural festival of MADO Madrid Orgullo, which celebrates its 20th edition this year bringing diversity to cultural spaces throughout the city.
