La Sub25 returns in its fifth edition as the festival where new voices find their space. A space where dance, performances, art, circus, augmented reality and participatory activities, among other proposals, coexist to give visibility to the talent, creative force and multiculturalism of the youngest artists.

In this edition, Madrid Rio becomes an artistic and participatory meeting that accompanies the collective and cultural thinking, seeking to move away from the masses to strengthen the sense of creative community. An open space where the diversity of voices and disciplines come together to encourage dialogue, reflection and collaboration, inviting everyone to be active protagonists of creation and cultural exchange.

The event will take place on Saturday, June 28, with various proposals at the Multipurpose Esplanade, Nave de Terneras and in the surroundings of Madrid Río. An essential event to discover the creative pulse of the new generations and experience a night of art, diversity and community in the heart of Arganzuela.

🩰 Live Arts Stage
In the Multipurpose Esplanade you can enjoy a stage where you can see the dance projects and performances of the following emerging artists:

– The Sacka performance by the Maymae collective
– From my body to the ravea poetic performance by Irene Díaz Lázaro
– 3 minutes of gloryexpress presentations of projects by emerging artists
– Wild Rhythma physical theater piece by the company Ntamo Performance.
– Dressagea dance solo by Andrea El Ameri
– I wanted your face when the screen illuminated mea dance performance of the La Colé project.
– Being alive screams at mea dance performance by Irene Ducajú
– The Talking Clamsa contemporary drama piece by Carmen Rojas and Karelis Zambran.

🖼️ Young Art Exhibition
In Nave de Terneras you can enjoy a group exhibition where creativity unfolds in the form of painting, photography, graphic design and illustrations, with the participation of five emerging artists: Max Naranjo, Mohamed El Ouardy, Candela Espada Revuelto, Lourdes Muñiz Banciella and Natalia Amor.

In addition, you will be able to explore a varied selection of fanzines from seven different artists, who will share their issues so that you can immerse yourself in their work at the Fanzine Showcase. You will also be able to take part in a conversation with Ruango and the artists about the concept of ‘identity’ in the fanzine.

🎶 Immersive music
The stage of the Multipurpose Esplanade and the Nave de terneras will host the DJ set of Patataonstereo, who will be in charge of the opening and closing of La Sub25. In addition, in Nave de terneras you will be able to participate in Confíoa performance installation by Mirko Nisenson.

✨ Participatory Zone
Throughout the festival you will be able to take part in various participatory proposals such as The C.O.S.A, The Journey,The Machine to be Another, G-nesis or Laberint II. An opportunity to experience culture in first person.

🖍️ Zona Gráfica
Bring out your most creative side with the collaborative murals from Circo Diverso and Madrid Street Art Project. The result will be an ephemeral work built by many hands. In addition, Carmen Lorente De Nó proposes to participate in the art installation Lost and found in rome and Beatriz López-Linares invites you to be part of the living installation Pieces of wall.

🌈 Zona Tunéate
Get ready to give a unique touch to your festival look . Here you can make incredible nail designs, braids and hairstyles, mega glow makeup , create unique patterns on your skin with body marbling, henna tattoos and you can even give a second life to your clothes in the upcycling space. Come and transform your style!

🗣️ Active Points
Here you will find a variety of participatory activities that will make you reflect and learn about key issues such as equality, diversity, accessibility, inclusion and sustainability. We look forward to seeing you!

🌌 You can also approach Con nocturnidad y alevosíaa meeting between Eugenia Tenenbaum and Mario Obrero, where poetry, critical thinking and night intertwine to invoke invisible references and celebrate what shines in the shadows.
