Leganés joins the commemoration of LGTBIQ+ Pride with a diverse program that puts the voice of youth and the strength of culture at the center. Under the slogan “Proudly”, and in collaboration with the Dejóvenes group and the Legaynés association, the city offers workshops, exhibitions, cinema and awareness-raising activities during the month of June.
The central event will take place on June 6 at the Plaza del Laberinto, with Le Cocó as master of ceremonies, the reading of the manifesto of the Equality Council, and performances by Verónica Romero and Malicia DJ. A festive gathering that vindicates freedom and diversity in an atmosphere of collective celebration.
The activities include the exhibition Stones: Older women without closets, film sessions with titles such as Love, Simon and 20,000 species of bees, and training workshops against hate speech and initiation to drag art. The program, designed for all ages, makes Leganés one of the first municipalities to inaugurate the MADO’25 Pride in Community platform.
