The La Pluma association announces a new edition of the LGTBIQA+ Pride Demonstration of Parla, one of the central events of the V Pride Month in the municipality. Under the slogan “Mobilize against hate! For respect and liberation: action and support”, the call seeks to make diversity visible and reaffirm the collective commitment to discrimination and LGTBIQAphobia.
The march will go through the streets of the city to the Plaza de la Guardia Civil, where the reading of the Pride manifesto will take place. A protest and participatory act that invites citizens to join the defence of equality, freedom and respect for all people, regardless of their sexual orientation, gender identity or expression.
After the reading of the manifesto, the day will continue with a festive and community program that will include a popular lemonade, music with DJ Macu and the Marizumba activity, hosted by Drag Sergiolla, creating a meeting space to celebrate diversity and strengthen community ties.
This activity is part of the Orgullo en Comunidad programme, an initiative that brings the celebration of Pride to municipalities throughout the Community of Madrid through cultural, social and participatory proposals that promote diversity, coexistence and equality.
