La Oculta hosts the presentation of The Brightness of the Eyes is Not Operated, the new book by Star Spanish, a work that travels through Spanish pop culture through folklore, divineo, television and some of the most recognizable moments of our collective imagination.

During the meeting, the author will share the keys to a book that combines humour, analysis and cultural memory to reflect on what has accompanied us and helped us to build our identities. The activity will also include the sale of copies and book signings, generating a close space for dialogue and exchange with the attendees.

The activity is aimed exclusively at COGAM members and access will be free until full capacity is reached.

The proposal is part of La Oculta, a COGAM initiative that brings together cultural and artistic activities to make visible the plurality of experiences and voices of the LGTBIQ+ collective.
