The Error of Prometheus is a pictorial project by Daniel Dacio that takes classical myth as a starting point for thinking about the present. Through suspended, fragmented or transforming figures, the exhibition explores states of instability where construction and the dissolution of form coexist.

The figure of Prometheus functions as the conceptual axis of a reflection on the human impulse towards knowledge, control and transcendence, as well as on the conflicts and limits that this same impulse generates. Each work poses a tension between dominance and loss, between ideal and reality.

This exhibition is part of the programme of Muestra•t, the cultural festival of MADO Madrid Orgullo, which celebrates its 20th edition this year.
