Cinefórum Queer por Palestina proposes a look at Palestinian experiences through a selection of short films that address issues related to identity, resistance and human rights. The works gathered in this session invite us to reflect on the multiple ways in which people build community and defend their existence in contexts of difficulty and conflict.
After the screening, a colloquium open to the public will be held, a space to share impressions, questions and experiences based on the themes raised by the films. The activity has the collaboration of CEAR (Spanish Commission for Refugee Aid).
The proposal combines cinema and critical thinking to generate a meeting where other voices can be heard, perspectives broadened and dialogue promoted from culture.
The activity is in addition to the programming of La Oculta, a cultural proposal of COGAM that invites you to discover new perspectives on diversity through art and culture.
