RED: the voices of HIV/AIDS against stigma proposes a journey through the history of HIV/AIDS through first-person testimonies and a look backed by scientific knowledge. The documentary focuses on the experiences of those who have lived through this reality, as well as on the social and health advances that have transformed the lives of people with HIV.
The screening invites us to reflect on memory, rights and the importance of combating the prejudices that still affect those who live with the virus. An opportunity to approach a fundamental part of recent history through listening, knowledge and empathy.
The activity is open to all people and admission will be free until full capacity is reached.
This event is part of La Oculta, COGAM’s cultural programme at MADO Madrid Pride, which turns culture into a place for meeting, reflection and celebration of diversity.
