The Art of Looking invites children to explore photography as a tool for creativity, expression and discovery. Through play and experimentation, they will learn to observe their surroundings carefully, working on aspects such as light, composition and emotion to transform everyday scenes into small visual stories.
The activity proposes a simple and accessible reflection on the power of images and the importance of looking from respect, curiosity and diversity. Through observation dynamics and small creative projects, participants will develop their imagination and learn to communicate ideas and emotions through photography.
The workshop will be taught by Lubezka Luque Álvarez and is part of the children’s program of Muestra•t, promoting creativity, self-esteem and a more conscious relationship with the visual culture that surrounds us.
The activity is aimed at girls and boys between 10 and 12 years old. Participation is free with prior registration and only minors attending must register. It is recommended to come with a camera, mobile phone or tablet, as well as small objects or toys that can be used in the photographs.
